    Hi there,

Looks like a light week this week for stuff! Anyway, I wont be able to update the chart until at least late this weekend. I am typing this message from the middle of the Baltic Sea somewhere between Gadynia (Gdansk), Poland and Warnemunde, Germany. So far the cruise has been a lot of fun, though the weather has not been cooperating. Darkman, I had my three days in Russia and really loved it! A little culture-shock, but I caught on pretty quick. I hope I wasn't too much of an "ugly American tourist".

This is costing 35 cents a minute so I just popped in to see what was going on in the world of DBS! State-room TV has all of 2 to 10 channels to choose from depending on the time of day so I'm suffering from a little TV withdrawl. :D But only JUST a little.

    See ya
    Tony

Thanks for checking in Tony! Glad to see you are having a great time. Gotta love modern technology. Internet access in the middle of the ocean. :biggthump

Oh, and for those who don't believe it. I checked his IP address and it's a Princess Cruise address. Very cool!

    Also on channel 919.

All those info channels on the 105 duplicate locals are hot. Affected(ones who can see the channel) better call and get the 121 SuperDISH or they will lose their reception.

Can someone identify each Montgomery, AL. channel?

What does testing mean and how long do they usually test before they allow us to subscribe?

    Thanks!

Actually I regularly see 2 different markets, Wichita Falls - Lawton and Ada - Ardmore - Sherman - Dennison refer to themselves as Texoma area stations. Amarillo stations use panhandle since they can refer to both states panhandles.

This will be interesting, I do not know if I will subscribe to locals or not... I have a KU-FSS pointed at 105 atm back from the days where they said HD at 105. I have yet another 36" dish, plus a SuperDish hiding out in the garage (105, but since I have 119/110 each on their own 24" dish, it could just point at 121), maybe I will mount another dish rather than repoint the 105.

I get great OTA digital for CBS-HD/NBC-SD/Fox-SD with ABC to finally get around to it soon. I see since they are only using 7860 - 7863 they are probably not going to carry UPN (LP), PBS (repeater of KERA out of Dallas), or the other 3 low power stations. I wonder if they will let us get KERA out of Dallas since it is the PBS here?
