I'm looking for some video editing software (Preferably free) that will allow me to edit and combine files in the .m2ts format. Yes, I want to keep them in that format. I also don't want the software editing any specifics of the files (Bit rate, etc.). It should also have no problem handling 7.1 DTS HD Master and 7.1 Dolby Digital TrueHD. Basically these are Blu Ray rips that I want to edit a little bit out of and combine together. Is there any software that does what I need?

Yep, I use it. Think you'll have to pay money for this one, don't know of any free stuff that'll do what VideoRedo will do.

Check dvdvideosoft.com I'm not certain as to whether their free video manager will do the job for you, but it's worth a look
