I have a Vox V1 external hard drive that supports both USB and eSATA interfaces. I'd like to swap out its current 250GB drive for a 1TB or maybe even one of the new 1.5TB Seagate drive available for preorder at buy.com, for use on my HR-20.

Is anyone familiar with this drive/enclosure? I'm wondering if there's anything about the chipset that would limit the size of the drive I can put into it. I know there are limitations with the chipsets in certain USB drive enclosures but don't know enough about eSATA enclosures to know if they have similar issues.

The specific model number of the one I have is EXSA-35C-250GMC, and a little Google searching leads me to believe it contains an Initio chipset.
