Any idea how I can watch Direct TV NFL Sunday ticket on Linux Mint? I tried both FF and Chrome and get Unsupported browser message. I have turned off my ad blocker.

I am using Chrome 78 and FF 70

I have posted on Linux Mint forum too

Just a guess on my part but I would give Opera a try.

OK, I just installed Opera and went to https:// www. directv.com/ and got this

    Unable to complete secure transaction

You tried to access the address https:// www. directv.com/, which is currently unavailable. Please make sure that the web address (URL) is correctly spelled and punctuated, then try reloading the page.

Secure connection: fatal error (70) from server.

    https:// www. directv.com/

Handshake failed because the server does not want to accept the enabled SSL/TLS protocol versions.
Make sure your internet connection is active and check whether other applications that rely on the same connection are working.
Check that the setup of any internet security software is correct and does not interfere with ordinary web browsing.
If you are behind a firewall on a Local Area Network and think this may be causing problems, talk to your systems administrator.
Try pressing the F12 key on your keyboard and disabling proxy servers, unless you know that you are required to use a proxy to connect to the internet. Reload the page.

Every reference to the URL on this was being replaced, so I added extra spaces.

Looks like support is pretty limited. I don't see any mention of Linux.

    PC/MAC
    • Operating Systems (OS):
      • Windows 7 (Firefox and Chrome only), Windows 10
      • Mac OSX 10.10.x – 10.13.x
    • Browsers (Mac/PC):
      • Chrome 59+
      • Firefox, Latest version (both O/S)
      • Internet Explorer 11 (Windows 10:Edge)
      • Safari 10+

OK. Thanks for finding out for me. Poor old Linux, another reason for people to abstain
