Is it possible to subscribe to Minneapolis/St. Paul Fox 9 or CBS 4 in the St. Louis metro area on DIRECTV?

No it isn’t. Even if you attempted to play the changing address game, all you would get are black screens due to the fact the two cities are too far from each other to be able to receive the spot beam signal for the opposite city’s local channels.

You can trick YTTV to get any local channels you want.

Are you referring to using a VPN?

When I have traveled, Youtube TV has successfully identified the location of the wifi service that I was using and switched locals to that location. When I was in San Antonio, I got the San Antonio locals. When I got stranded in Houston, it switched from San Antonio to Houston and when I returned home, i immediately began receiving my home locals.

That is half of the equation.
