I have had video/signal issues during the past 2 cold spells. With temperatures as low as zero at night and up to 27 right now I lose the signal to half my tv's. I have a swm 16 switch going to two 8 tuner splitters. I have lost the signal on the same 8 tuner splitter during each cold spell. All tv's working off of this splitter are gone. The tv's working off the other splitter come in good. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Possibly water got into a cable connector? peds48 may have experience with such issues.

Hope you get resolved soon, and good luck!

might be something as simple as a short "stinger" on the cable feeding the "bad" 8 way that is "retracting" when the cable shrinks because of the cold

Is the SWM16 located outdoors? Are the splitters?

I forgot to mention that I can still watch recorded shows off of the receivers that are not receiving a signal.

My SWM-16 is located on the side of our house and we've had -37 degree weather here. All TV's work fine. You must have a problem with your cable.

I changed the cable that peds48 suggested and it has worked fine since. -1 here this morning and no issues. I think once the weather warms up I am going to replace all me cables.
