Mark, BTW, you need to change the "Return to DBSTalk.com Survivor: Pearl Islands Contest Forum" link to ... AllStars.

Thought I bring it to your attention.

Oh crap... maltese_mom getting the random points is a bad sign for the rest of us. Its one thing when the random points go to the middle of the pack, but maltese_mom is always a front runner...

Not that I'll complain if I ever get random points... ;)

Since this thread talks about the Voting Summary/Results page ....

Mark, Is it possible to number the results page so that we know what rank we are? I always ending up counting down to find where I stand at the end of every week?

    Thanks man,
    David

David, I have an idea how to do number ranks that I'll try out. All of the tracking is done in an excel spreadsheet, so if anyone wants to post a formula to do it, I'll be happy to add it in.

    My thoughts are this:

Assume Rank is in Column A.
Assume Total Points is in Column K.
Assume Data starts in Row 2.

The Row 2 player is always Rank 1.
    Rows 3 through X have a formula.

    =if($K3<>$K2,$A2+1,$A2)

I believe for Week 1, that would provide ranks of 1,2,2,2,2,2,2,2,2,2,3,...

I'm not there yet how to instead make the results 1,2,2,2,2,2,2,2,2,2,11,...

    Ideas are definitely welcome.

    Two ways to do it:

=IF($K3<>$K2,ROWS(A$2:A3),$A2) . This has the advantage of working if you change where the data rows begin, as opposed to:
=IF($K3<>$K2,ROW(A3)-1,$A2) , which is just a different way to do it. You can obviously anchor the columns in the first to make my final, cleaner answer:
=IF($K3<>$K2,ROWS($A$2:$A3),$A2) . Basically, the rows array stretches and counts its size in case there is no tie. Hope this helps! (Oh, and change any semicolons you may see to commas. I think I got them all, but you never know...).
