When they shipped my H24-700, it went out on Friday and arrived here on Monday. I'm guessing that's how it's going to turn out this time too.

Our local FedEx will sometimes deliver early. The facility is so close that if it's in hand they usually deliver it even if it's a day early.

I've also seen where tracking says it's at the facility early, but it get's delivered on time.

A friend told it also has to do with where it is in the conatiner and how easy it is to get at.

I still can't decide whether the HR24-200 should replace my HR20-700 (now nearly 4 years old) or one of my HR21-100s. I'm inclined to keep the HR20-700 although I don't use OTA at all, but I prefer -700 models over -100s. Keeping the HR20 also gives a broader number of models to test CEs, but the unit is getting up there in age and the hard drive won't run forever.

Anybody got some advice for me on what I should do?

I agree, replace the HR21. I will be keeping the HR20-700 until it dies. My H24 will be replacing the H20 but as the office will not be very robust test I will stack it in the bedroom with the HR21, right down to watching the H24 while MRVing from the HR12 directly underneath it

My "HR24-500" shows on my account as of today, expecting it to show up on Monday. Sure wish I had a SWM-16 already, I'm running a SWM LNB and am maxed out with my 4 DVR's. I guess one of them will just be sitting idle until I can get around to upgrading.

    Be my guest. :D

    Just kidding, by the way.

Man, that was quick. Guess they want to get the units tested quickly to have more available in the supply line.

By the looks of it they are doing the HR24-200 before the H24-200 based on the poll results at first glance. Lucky you guys get urs a tid bit earlier it seems.

I think you all will be surprised at how responsive these new receivers are compared to the older models are. Everyone is in for a treat.

Do they send these out next day or next business day? In other words is it possible that it will arrive tomorrow?
