Glad to be a part of this distinguished group.
Thanks again to Earl and D* also. It's great to be in this testing. I am very excitied by this. I finally get to get rid of the ugly second line in my living room.
Thank you Earl and DTV for the opportunity to particpate in this testing.
Just thought I'd check in and see who all is here...
DirecTV is even sending a line tester. They thought of everything!
I'd like to +1 a question asked earlier. Should we mention SWM in our setups at all? Once I add another DVR (SOON!) it will be obvious I have a multiswitch of some sort.
OK got a question, this being my first field test and all... Do we get to keep the equipment? My fist thought would be yes, but one hates to assume!!
haha....thats a good question....i sure hope so....
or else i have a bunch of rewireing to do....
thanks Earl... I ordered my splitter today and should have it Thursday.. so hopefully this weekend I will get the lnb swapped out and get testing..
Thanks again for the oppertunity.
Watching for the FexEX truck to arive. Glad to be a part of this Test. Always excited about beta testing new product.
Looking forward to testing! Go Fedex!! Thank you, DIRECTV and Earl!
hum, i don't know how you have so much time to post as much as you do. it's only seems like yesterday you was having a K anticipation thread. and you wasted that 2000th post somewhere
Oh, btw hi everyone
Thank You for allowing me to take part as well.
Thanks for including me in this test...I know I am going to have some questions....I will just have to wait until I get the packages.
Looks like I'm going to have to call D* and upgrade a couple receivers. And do some new wiring, BUT, I have to wait till things dry out a bit around here. We had a VERY wet winter, now 2 more inches of rain today, more coming this week later.
Be an interesting project!
Welcome, folks! Glad to have some new testers around. The SWMLine is a great piece of equipment.
Hello everyone! Just want to stop in and say hello and a HUGE THANK YOU!!! for allowing me to try this equipment - it's going to help out a ton with my new receivers and my lack of SWM inputs. Thank you so very much!
Welcome aboard mates!
Just remember to double and triple check which way you have that PI hooked up.
Why would we need to do that...SMO...er houskamp didn't.
Can we use a regular Sat signal strength test meter with the SWMline?
