Yes, it's in tech talk for a reason, check the pics. This isn't the site I'd get it from, but it shows off the device excellently.

The device has an lcd control panel for controlling radio, volumne, temps, steam, lights, telephone, etc.

    The...
    Be careful...be very careful.

They may say it's a shower, but it really looks like a transporter.
You may come out clean, but you won't know where you are.

    I'm just saying... :whatdidid

If it doesn't wash, dry and dress you (see: "The Jetsons") it's not worth getting.

Sure, you can, but you are a finance wizard. The rest of us donkeys can't, I can do a bathroom for maybe twice that (considering current living standards). :D

You guys do know the helpfulness of a steam shower right?

The thing works like a suana with 6 massage jets. It'll be extremelly helpful for me. I know it costs more, but I'm not getting it JUST for crap and giggles.

But I will say the teh stuff did influence my buy a bit :p

It's the same reason I got a tempur-pedic bed when I was 25, and it's the same reason why I have more energy then teenagers at 30.

Some people could call my life boring and costly, because I don't drink, smoke, I excercise constantly, and I spend alot to make sure my body is in working order. But it's me.

The shower at the house that I just finished rebuilding:

Doesn't have all the gizmos, but it looks nice and people say "WOW" when they see it. ;)

To the thread starter... it makes me wonder how dirty one must be on a regular basis to need such a shower.

Also it looks a bit like the "agony booth" in Star Trek TOS: Mirror, Mirror.

That shower, maybe not the exact one, but something very similar was shown on an episode of DIYs Tech Out My House. While that show is always fun to watch, I love when they get to the bathrooms. Some very cool (and expensive) stuff out there.

My in-laws had steam jets added to their shows for much less than that contraption.
