I see they've moved it into the Sports Pack today. Must be some bottom line move to pay for Versus. I think it's Bull$hit. I've had that channel for 6 years and now it's a premium....I think not.

This has been announced for sometime now, ESPN U moved to Choice in exchanged for Classic. It has nothing to do with Versus.

ESPN Classic is still included in the Choice Xtra package.

I, too, have the Xtra package and don't get Classic. Maybe do a bit of research before posting inaccurate info...

    Negative ghostrider.

Classic and ESPNU switched so instead of having 208 you now have 614.

Good trade! I do wish they would change the channel numbers as well.

Classic sucks, the only thing I watched on it was the hot aerobic chicks in the morning. I wish they'd hurry up and add ESPNU HD like promised.

I think they should switch ESPNews and ESPN2's positions around for better flow. Most other companies have ESPN and ESPN2 back to back.

ESPN Classic was announced that it would be moved to Sports Pack more than 5 months ago, well before anything with Vs came up. ESPN offered the switchout to almost every major television distributor in the country. Swap ESPNU for ESPN Classic.

No it's not. Sports Pack is required. If you are receiving as part of CHOICE XTRA, you won't for very much longer.

I don't have the Sports Pack and I am receiving ESPN Classic on 208 with Choice Xtra + HD DVR. So maybe it will go away soon, but I still have it this morning. Is it possible it is included with NFL ST+SF subscriptions?

Please keep it on for me one more night. ESPN apparently picked up Aussie rules football when Seatanta was having its financial issues. The Grand Final is live tonight (Saturday in Australia) on ESPN Classic. Go St. Kilda!

This is a shame if you're a boxing fan.

There are lots of great fights on ESPN Classic that you just don't get to see anywhere else.

I might shut off HBO in protest... we'll see.

Guys, ESPN Classic has indeed been moved to the Sports Pack. And as Satelliteracer said, if you still have it without the Sports Pack (or Premier package), you likely won't for long.

    Please continue discussion here.

And for other HD Channels you would like to see added, continue here.
