Many of you know my husband is an ER nurse. People who are nurses always hope to save lives and to help others. Today my husband got to save a life with his bare hands! He called me to tell me how good it felt and that's what life is all about. Just wanted to share.

You might want to edit that first sentence, Mom. Quickly.

You're welcome! I changed my post to reflect your post. I knew what you meant, but had to read it a couple times to be sure I hadn't lost my mind. :rolling:

Having worked as an EMT, it is a great feeling and happens far too little.

Gongrats to your husband, Mom! My Daughter in-law is a Hospice nurse, so she mainly sees end of life situations.

However hospice nurses to me serve a very important function. When you know your time is up you want your remaining days to be as comfortable as possible.

Congrats to your husband, Supramom. I can only imagine what that accomplishment must feel like
