Siffey is digging up a bunch of old shows to fill their daytime schedule in mini-marathons. A while back it was "The Invaders", today it's "Tru Calling", tomorrow, "The Outer Limits", Monday "V" and so on.

Are they just filling the schedule, or are they testing the waters for something else?

    Sherman...
They've been doing these mini-marathons every so often for years, at least since around the time I first had a TiVo (I remember running across, and recording, blocks of "Amazing Stories," "Misfits of Science," and "Buck Rogers" on Sci-Fi fairly early on -- and I got my first TiVo nine years ago).

If they've already paid for the rights to air a program for X number of years, then why not? Easy cash in their pocket, and you get a chance to catch up on some old, cheesy and possible forgotten episodes. :)

It's great to see shows being pulled out of the vaults and run. There are plenty of sci fi shows that have never made it to DVD, so why not bring them back and run them?

And if you're bummed about not have "Dollhouse" to watch, you can watch "Tru Calling" and get your Eliza Dushku fix.

I'd prefer to just see new stuff, but it is unreasonable to hope for new stuff 24/7.

It'd be nice to see them import some scifi stuff from other english-speaking countries. The UK has a huge library of scifi and the Aussies have produced a few shows as well.

^^^ There ya' go. Last time I saw any of them was on Soap a few years ago.

I think they ran some "Night Gallery" episodes not too long ago.
