I have install about 10-12 superdishes in Milton Florida and the locals come off of TP. 22 The max signal is around 75. At least all the ones I have put in there. I only live about 50 miles from there.

Well, fine, but it does not come in that high where I am! Were you installing type 2 Supers?

It helps to have a CLEAR view of the satellite from a stable mount. Of course we all know that AMC-2 has a hole in its coverage that affects only your complex ... and not neighbors across town.

    BTW: Is your system grounded?

Mickdog, I realize that your home is installation challenged, but you would have a better signal if your dish was actually clearing your roofline, which is is not. I bet you could tilt your pole out and adjust your skew as you do and your signal would go up. I have done this many times to prove to a customer what a crappy install they have, and why I have to move the dish. If you have a flat roof, a nonpenetrating roof mount held down with cinder blocks would be a much better option.

Mickdog, who isn't reading this, does not have a roof. He lives in a complex with his SuperDish hanging off the balcony post and the DP34 on the inside of the rail.

    I am using a Type 1 Superdish 105 in Salem, Oregon 97302.

I get about 47-55 on all working transponders. The rain has started full force out here, so AMC-15 cannot be operational quick enough for me. Yes, I'm outside the AMC-2 footprint, and yes I am getting occasional signal loss right now. You do what you gotta do to watch your alma mater on Saturdays. :D

Justalurker, those signals are not too bad at all. I dont think that FSS signals fades out as quicklly during a storm as DBS signals which helps compensates for the lower signal strengths that we all experience due to it being a weaker satellite.

After seeing some of the other numbers, I think I'll hold off my tweeks until AMC-15 takes it's rightful place amongst the stars.

Thats what I would do as well. I wonder if the satellite will be put in just a slightly different position which would affect the signal strength? If so it could cause some transponders to read a higher signal while causing other ones to read a lower signal.

Channel 7000 says CONGRATULATIONS! You have a SuperDish system
pointed at 105' W.L. I used a Channel Master Signal Meter to tune it!

That's because he is not using a SuperDish, he's using a Primestar Dish. 40x30". Much better signal.

I tried both LNB,s. One with 2 output and one with 1 out. I got an
average of 4 #,s higher useing 1 output LNB. The #,s i posted
were with the 1 output Primestar LNB.

I also have an oval Primestar Dish with DSS LNB on each for
101 and 119 Directtv. I am getting 100 on all transponders
    except Trans 26 on 101 and i get 96.

I have installed several Superdishes in my area and the highest
    # i could get was 78/80

The Primstar Oval Dish will defenently give a better signal.

I am useing the Primestar single output connected to #2 input
on SW21 switch with Dish Twin connected to #1 input on SW21
    switch.Output from SW21 to Dish3700 Rec.
