Does anyone know where to find in the DVR menu system the PPV movies you have purchased as owned? I bought Blade Runner:2049 with their free movie promo a couple weeks ago but I can't find a place to find the movies I own (1 at this time) on any of my DVRs. Online when you go to the movie it is listed as purchased.

When you "purchase a movie" aren't you just getting a PPV,
and , after you watch it once doesn't it just automatically delete after so many days ?

Look in the Recordings, History and see if it is in there.

No. AT&T/DIRECTV now offers movies to "Buy". Once purchased they are yours to keep as long as you remain a AT&T/DIRECTV customer.

It is in my Playlist on the HR54 I bought it on. If I delete it or want to watch it on my other Genie, is there place in the menu system for owned movies? If so, I can't seem to find it.

Two Genies? AT&T/DIRECTV only allows one Genie per account.

A lot of subs have more than one Genie for specific reasons which has been discussed in the past. But yes, the general rule is one per account.

Back to the OP- I have three purchased movies myself, but have not tried the delete process and reinstall yet, simply because I have low confidence on the ATT owned DirecTV situation that we have now. Sorry.

I’m guessing he is referring to a genie mini...

Meant other DVR. It shows up online as owned but there should be a place on the dvr's, whether in the play list or elsewhere, that lists owned movies. Either this has been overlooked or I just can't find it.

From what I read, the promotion to own movies can only be downloaded/saved to the Genie, and not any other HR2x DVR’s. Once saved on the Genie, you can play it on other DVR’s via MRV unless the movie is in 4K (I have confirmed this). I don’t see them changing their policy on this either.

It would be interesting to know the answer to your question jmf243 if you called DIRECTV and posted it here. What is the other Genie you have an HR44 or HS17? Im not sure if the HS17 is a Genie. I don't have the server or whatever it is. So I don't know.
