Completely unscientific poll here... After reading through the Christmas gift threads there seems to be a common theme surrounding gaming system gifts this year. I'm curious how this (decidedly techno-centric) community, shakes out.

If you gave or received a gaming system for Christmas or another holiday this year which one was it?

(Whoops, forgot to add "360" after XBox... if a mod can edit that would be great)

Santa left the kids a Wii

Ironically, Guitar Hero World Tour for the Xbox360 got more play time on Christmas Day.

Didn't have a game system, didn't get a game system, have no interest in a game system.

Wii, we bought it in October BTW and it was wrapped for the past couple of months. We got the Sport edition and an extra controller and Nunchuks. We bought each of the kids a couple of different games. We tried to find Mario Kart and these are harder to get than the Wii itself. Santa also brought the family Guitar Hero World Tour and the kids are loving it (it is tough to play BTW, even on easy for me). The Star Wars Clone Wars game is the biggest hit here BTW, we got extra light sabers for the game, which are real kewl looking.

We've had the Wii since it first came out. My kids are both in college so I got them tons of Wii points and they downloaded several of the old Ninetindo games from their early childhood. They have enjoyed them more than the library of current games we have. Watching them play has been a blast.

Got a PS3 about 9 months ago, but just for Blu Ray.

Haven't done any gaming since I set the World Record on Q-Bert about 25 years ago.

Dell was running 15% off so I splurged and bought myself a PS3. I was planning on waiting until when they drop the price but decided to jump in, mainly for bluray.

I got a Wii for myself and one of the Foster kids that I am Guardian for. In the Pilot Club, we are now taking the Wii and using it in nursing homes as physical and mental therapy. They just love the bowling game!

    Xbox 360 + Rock Band 2

Already had a Wii and Wii Fit. Originally wanted a PS3, but the $199 Xbox caught my attention. Of course, I ended up spending about $530 by the time I was done anyway... :)

No game systems in my house, although I have given serious thought to the Wii Fit system.
