What DIRECTV Receiver is known to not have any Pixelation or Audio Judder? Is there an HD Receiver out there that is known to not have the issues?

I have an HR44, C41 and 4 HR24s. The only time I get any pixelation is when we have strong weather fronts passing through. No audio issues.

A lot of the known pixelation/dropout issues are isolated to the -500, while the -100, -200 and -700 are unaffected. Unfortunately sites like SolidSignal don't split their models by manufacturer so you won't know which one you're getting until it arrives, so if you want a replacement that's guaranteed not to have the -500 specific issues you'll have to pick something like the H24 or HR23 where a -500 variation doesn't exist.

You also have to be watching live tv on the affected channels with Dolby Digital audio to experience the audio dropout issue on the HR24, H25 and the HR44, it doesn't happen if you're watching a recording or delayed playback from the buffer.

    I have a HS17-500 3 C61k-700. 2 C61-500 and a C61-100. Never seen a pixelation issue. Had a HR54-500 also before and same no issues
