When I search by "Title" with "Keyword" = "CRIME AND PUNISHMENT", one match is found:

On Channel 385 (MGM), "CRIME AND PUNISHMENT" will be broadcast on May 31, 2018 at 3:00 AM - 5:20 AM.

Because many versions of this movie exist, I suspect the description for this movie may be wrong.

Who can I contact to confirm which version is being broadcast?

According to the channel's website, it's the 2002 release with Crispin Glover, John Hurt and Vanessa Redgrave:
    MGM HD

The description of this program on DISH says the stars are Ian McDiamid, Lara Belmont and Nigel Terry.
The DISH chat-agent says that description was provided by MGM HD.

MGM's site says it's the Crispin Glover version but the Dish says it's the Ian McDiamid version. Why isn't Dish pulling the description from MGM?

Dish gets their guide info from a 3rd party, like most of the other cable and tv providers. The channel provides the 3rd party with their schedule and information which is then distributed. However the 3rd parties are known to enter the information incorrectly which is why you have the discrepancy in movie versions or even dates and times of different showings.

The average CSR has no idea what they're talking about when it comes to technical details like this

Exactly. Do a search in this forum and you will find a lot of threads about bad guide information.

I've given up complaining about the bogus guide data. About a year and a half ago Dish changed guide data providers. The new provider's descriptions read like book reports I fudged in 7th Grade when I didn't read the book. I'm not exaggerating, the descriptions are really that bad! I see the same phraseology used, it's a dead giveaway they have no idea of the true content descriptions in many cases.
