Just bought a 3d tv and I thought Directv had ESPN 3d .
It's a temporary channel.
They do, but then only show 'live' 3D programming at this time. See http://espn.go.com/3d/schedule.html for what ESPN's published so far, that's when channel 106 will be live.
Found this story about ESPN 3D, http://www.wired.com/playbook/2011/06/future-of-3d-sports/
No it's not...
Yes it is, on DIRECTV.
I saw a note that UVerse's contract for ESPN3D is up on July 31st and that they've yet to come to terms on a new deal.
Ordinarily I wouldn't think too much about another provider's deal, but I did a few searches and realized that both UVerse and D* added ESPN3D on June
11th, 2010 (at launch for the World Cup).
I wonder if D*'s contract was also for 13 months? If so, maybe we'll either lose it all together or get it full time. Considering we just got new VOD content, I'm guessing D* and ESPN are on good terms and that we won't be losing it....
I wonder how many people watch this channel?
This thread title is killing me. Maybe the mods could fix it?
Why "don't" you like it?
Fixed it for you.
LOL!!! I had thought about doing that in the beginning...you doing it just made it that much better.
Here we go again with nit picken ! This post has long went away ! But you do nothing but nit pick what and how people post . Get a life !
Why do they them "grape-nuts" ?
There are no grapes & no nuts.
I dont know.
And why is the first showing of The Neverending Story not still playing in theaters today 27 years later? (I believe there was a mention of a fictitious lawsuit about this in a Simpsons episode.)
Thread title changed so it's time to discuss the topic and leave the rest alone. :backtotop
The topic doesnt make sense though.
ESPN 3D does have programming.
oh....programming has 2 m's when you changed the topic title.
