If i am not home it records to the end,but if i am recording and watching a live program it never goes to the end of the show. It will be about 5 min. short and will say Keep or Delete.

Not sure about that one. I have never seen or heard anyone say that has happened before until now.

Are you sure there's not another show ready to be recordsed after the one you're watching? It could partly be due to the need for a free tuner to record the next show on the list.

Just recorded the Braves game and in the bottom of the 9th inn.the pop up said Keep or Delete. Could it be caused by me switching back and forth from live to recording?

Any examples other than sporting events (since they often run beyond their scheduled time)?

Indeed. If it cuts of the last few minutes of sporting events I'd say that's perfectly normal!

This is why it allows you to pad recordings!

Click on the recording in your "to do list" you want to PAD and click on the record once. Then you will see a option to change start or stop time.

Click list then click the yellow button to get into your "to do list". Then you will be able to highlight the upcoming episode that you want and do it there.

The list button takes you to shows you have already recorded, like has been suggested, you need to go into list, then the YELLOW button, that takes you to the "to do list", the list of shows scheduled to record in the near future...then follow the rest of the instructions previously given.

Sorry for being such a pest, but if i [click on RECORD on the highlighted program in the "to do list"] it removes the program from the to do list.
