Will DIRECTV2PC Ever Allow For Live TV?

    This could replace that HDPC20 that got cancelled. It only allows for the playlist to be shown on a PC right? I guess the reason it doesn't do live tv is due to copyright infringment right? If so could DTV add some type of encryption so you could record TV on your PC but not be able to burn it to DVD or BluRay? Thanks.

    You can almost do "Live TV" by simply starting a recording on a networked DVR and viewing that recording from the Playlist. You'll be several seconds behind "Live" of course.
