Will latest remote control Directv Receiver, TV, and AVR?

    My peanut remote was setup by the installer to control my C61K and the Vizio TV. I've since added rear channel speakers to my Yamaha AVR so I'm using it more and more. Is the remote able to be programmed to on/off all three, control volume on the Yahmaha, and also do C61K functions? I would try it myself but I didn't want to screw up what is currently working.

    Yes- Menu Setting -Remote - Program remote - Program Audio System - Follow on screen instructions - and then Lock the Audio to control to the sound system -

    You really can't mess it up - just read a follow the on screen instructions

    It will control the volume but it will not turn the Yamaha on and off.
