Dang it... its ok ive seen you for this long in SD I can wait a little longer....Samantha Brown
Thank you, this is what I wanted. It's nice to know there's at least one individual in the thread, besides myself who isn't so juvenile. I checked out their website, No Reservations doesn't sound like something that would appeal to me, but Passport To Europe looks cool and I see the host does a similar show channel Passport To Great Weekends. I will check both out. Thank you again for the recommendations, hopefully both are in HD.
I didn't like No Reservations at first, give it a try...it can be funny & interesting.
oh, I have my moments.. but I think you and Harsh get ragged on too much.
That's mainly what I watch on that channel. It and Mad Men are the last two series links I have that remain in SD (via DirecTV).
Along those lines, World Poker Tour could appear on HGTV or DIY Network since it's played on a table.
I just say that because it seems as though half the networks have some sort of Poker programming these days. I say this as someone who has no interest in the WPT but did enjoy the Celebrity Poker that was on Bravo some time ago.
Not sure if they'll see that over here in the DirecTV forums... oh wait.
I thought they worked for D*
Not even a customer.
huh, don't know how I got that far off.
Yeah Harsh has Dish and I've been with Slime Warner Cable (or is that Crime Warner Cable) now for two and a half years after having Dish for over 5 and DirecTV another two after that. I don't think of myself as getting ragged on, I find it hilarious, I feed off of it, like well ummm a troll  There are a few members here that have unhealthy obsessive fetishes with me and what I post, but that's all right, like I said it's fun for me.
Ok Kids... this thread is as far off course as it needs to get. The OP, who hasn't been back apparently since he posted the about the Travel Channel and did not provide any basis for his inference that the Travel Channels presence in HD was imminent. Sounds like wishful thinking on his part or perhaps he just wanted to see what kind of a row he could start. Who Knows.
The point is that there appears to be no information regarding the imminent arrival of the Travel Channel in HD. Google search and a careful examination of the Travel Channel's web site provide no information.
Seems reasonable to say that the OP's question or comment has been reasonably answered and nothing more needs to be said, constructive or otherwise.
That being said, I hope the Mods will close this thread as it seems to have turned into a "pot shot" thread... :nono2:
