Fox isn't showing the opening ceremony on TV, only Telemundo is airing it live between 8am-10am ET Thursday morning.

Looking at some of the international schedules, it turns out it wasn't just Fox who skipped the opening ceremony. TSN/CTV Canada, RTE Ireland, VRT Belgium and NOS Netherlands didn't show it either.

Some countries, mainly from EU, declared "official" boycott to the Mundial-2018; only football players and its team visiting it.

I had to drive out of state this AM for a meeting. Decided to turn on the Fox Sports channel on Sirius/XM and listen to a World Cup game.

    Big mistake.

They are rebroadcasting the audio from Fox TV (FS1 in this case) to the radio station.

You can't follow a live sporting event on the radio by listening to a TV broadcast. Not enough detail.

Really stupid of Fox to even try.

Yes. Channel 83. But it's only worth during the World Cup is to check on the score(s).
