So are you admitting that you really don't know? Because I can assure you that it isn't in there.

In what way would a tighter bet help?

(Where's Nick when we really need him?) :)

We've got people who quote the Bible without reading it... and people who quote from the Koran without reading it.

I wouldn't even begin to quote or claim knowledge from the Koran since I have never even held one in my hands, much less read it.

I tend to not believe everything I hear, since I know many folks claiming knowledge of the Koran haven't read any more of it than they have the Bibles they claim to follow.

    That's right Bogy,
and I really don't it believe either, now that I remember something like:
people aren't given in marriage in heaven or something like that is in the New Testament.

That "we" sounded like a mass of people, :nono: please speak for yourself.
I only said "bet" after dodge boy wrote it first.

    My two statements:
    1. "A bet I'm not ready to make!" It is a fact.
    2. "Especially since they think they will be rewarded in heaven if they die, killing us." I am not saying anyone gets any special treatment, or rewards. I am simply stating a fact that "they", meaning radical, Islamic suicide bombers, believe they will be getting special rewards. That is a fact. I never said they "would", nor did I ever say the Koran said that they would.
So, since I "didn't really mean that", I accept your apology.

    :nono:

but you don't have to explain it either, just leave it that way;
it's not that I don't wanna know about it, :) it's just that i'm not even curious about it.

All this Koran crap.... I know one thing that muslims do believe and that is if they touch a pig... any part, they are banned from heaven and their virgins.... whatever number that would be. All we would have to do is video tape our soldiers soaking their ammunition in pig fat before loading it into their weapons and these guys would surrender.... Their whole cause for fighting is over. Search a little history on a General Black Jack Pershing 1860-1948.

Supposedly that's urban legend. But US soldiers are actually forbidden from using Israeli made bullets during combat ini Iraq. They can only use them during training.
Unless, of course, that turns out to be urban legend as well. But it doesn't seem so.

Not only in that article i pasted about General Pershing I also read that the Russians wraped dead muslims in pig skins and burried them in them. Shoot give it a try, what do you have to loose.

Don't get me wrong. I have no problem with wrapping Muslim terrorists (alive or dead) in pig skin. I have no problem offending the religious sensibilities of any terrorist. Lest someone think I actually hate all muslims- terrorist or not.

You are wrong, Halfsek. We (the ugly Americans) should reach out to these poor Muslim terrorists, and try to understand, and appreciate their view on pigs. We might be coming across to them a bullies, because we raise, and even EAT those pigs. No wonder they want to get nukes. We just have not been supportive enough of their feelings, and I for one, and maybe HDMe, would like to see an honest, open dialogue, dealing with our views on pigs.
I must go now, as I have a ham and cheese sandwich waiting for me!

Didn't they somehow have to shrink them to make them fit in a football?

If you don't respect my point of view, please don't drag me into your offensive silliness.

If we in the US (and Christians who like to claim similar) are so much morally better than the rest of the world... we certainly don't reflect it with our worldly actions and posts in forums like this!

You berate every conservative view that's posted here, so why can't I do the same to you? I find most of your views offensively silly!
If you can't take it, don't dish it out!

Berating my posts is one thing... and quoting and responding to me is one thing...

But what you did was interject me into a diatribe about making fun of Muslims and their views on pigs.

Bad enough that the post was off-topic, but since I never expressed or posted anything about the topic of Muslims and pigs, I resented being insinuated into your post.

Please stick to the discussions and what I actually say. I don't try and guess what your other world-views are and interject you into things you haven't posted about.

If you want to disagree with me or even insult me, that's ok... but at least stick to what I actually post instead of making stuff up about what my views might be.

It was written in the spirit of "sarcasm". If you've lost your sense of humor, sorry. I tried to correlate your "touchy-feely" thoughts about Iranians and nukes, to the Musllim and pig discussion. If you don't want your views subject to interpreation, keep them to yourself! I don't believe I did anything inconsistent with what most posters do!
There was a "smiley" at the end of my post, usually meant to relay humor.
Try to lighten up, and you'll live longer! :)

Well, since people are often prone to quote text and attribute it to someone else as if they said it... and that stirs the pot... I prefer it is people are angry with me only for something I actually typed and not what they read about me in someone else's post.

If I didn't respond to your post, I can virtually guarantee you or someone else would note that and quote it later and attribute those views to me.

And since when is not wanting to launch nuclear weapons at a country being "touchy feely"?

Do you really really want war and killing so badly as it seems in your post? Do you really want to just go kill people in other countries who do not share the same views as you?

Yes, I will settle for nothing until all people who don't share my views are exterminated. I want to rule the world. I have been in Texas, subjected to George Bush for so long, that I will setlle for nothing less than

    TOTAL WORLD DOMINATION :hurah:
