same here as the AIR client - no video loading for me.

It's happening in both the AIR and WWW client, which leads me to believe the backend video feeds are down.

Suggestion to the DirecTV team - if no video is found, instead of having the spinning wingding just disappear, can you make some sort of alert appear?

    Thanks!

RZC does not work. Been offline for a while. So wasn't able to test this week. Will try AIR later.

    WWW Client
    Medium quality mode
Computer OS - XP Pro SP2
ISP Cincinnati Bell Zoomtown DSL 5Mb down

Watching RZC and getting a pulse about once every second where the focus gets blurry and then clear again. It's as if the buffer is running low and then catching up constantly. Also the video seems to be squeezed as if 16:9 is being forced into 4:3.

Also noticing that even though the client loads up and starts video quickly it may only run for 15 or 20 minutes and then stops with the dial spinning. The program can be started again by changing video quality mode but will stop again after a while.

I have generally been running in medium resolution (video quality) mode but the result is the same in low quality mode also.

Thanks for letting me participate in this test.
I love DirecTV and the CE program!:)

Good luck with all of the SuperCast clients.

    Web Client
    Mac OS X 10.5.4
MacBook (2.0 GHz Core 2 Duo, 2 GB)
    Safari (3.1.2)
    QWest
256 Kbps access via WiFi (54 Mbps)

I'm using my S-I-L's internet and it's SLOW...

Takes LONG time to load the Web Client. Video and audio are intermittent. And yes, I tried using Low Quality for WiFi.

    Not good. :bang

    UPDATE...

    AIR Client 1.0.1
    Windows XP Pro SP3
MacBook (2.0 GHz Core 2 Duo, 2 GB)
    Explorer 7.0.6000.16705
    WiFi (54 Mbps)

Okay, my S-I-L's 256 Kbps was killing me. So, I rebooted into Windows and used the WiFi to log onto one of her neighbor's open WiFi. :D

Like the AIR Client, the Web Client was able to only get video in the Red Zone and preferred was Low Quality.

I then rebooted back into Mac OS X and got the same results, WiFi (54 Mbps), video only in Red Zone and preferred was Low Quality.
