Just ran across this thread Diane. Congratulation and best of luck.
My e-mail notification of post #22 in this thread included this dbsforums.com archive link: http://web.archive.org/web/20040618035201/http://www.dbsforums.com/ , but I was not able to maneuver through it. It did not accept my dbsforums.com log-in attempt, nor would it send me a new password, and when I clicked a few items on the dbsforums.com home page, that led me to some registry.com pages that didn't seem useful to me. Is there any way to navigate through a dbsforums.com archive?
I doubt it.
Some pages you can navigate thru.. (It depends on if the archive site has them all)
The Wayback Machine does not necessarily archive complete sites at any point in time. That they have anything is a gift, really.
2013 and people are starting to be so open to others choices. It's a beautiful thing! Never a member of DBS forum but just thought I'd point out the obvious. Good day all....

Hey Diana - remember me? Not sure what inspired me this evening to google search dbsforums and your name - but something did - and here I am.
First - very happy for you - nothing more to say.
Its interesting - I think we only met face to face once - when I was handing you some RAM for the server so we could start dbsforums post the death of dbsdish.
Anyway, wanted to say hello - and of course hello to anyone else around here who might remember me.
Hi Chris...I remember you very well (and the BBQ we had that evening). Glad to hear from you and to know you are doing well.
I was able to maneuver a little bit, but if they didn't archive the other pages at the same time you are unable to get to them. Even found evidence of some of the threads I started.
