When using trickplay at FFx2 and pressing play to come out of it. It's seems it jumps ahead alot. From my testing it seems that it jumps ahead about 15 seconds from the point you press play to come out of FF.
Watched recording of local evening news and trickplay (FF, REW) showed only one frozen video frame. Had also observed this problem with prior software release. It doesn't seem to happen with every recording, though.
I had turned down the front panel lights and this afternoon noticed they were back on, guess it rebooted itself. Generated report.

Issue: After losing network, completely separate issue, and then getting the network back I lost the dropdown box to select which DVR I'd like to record to. After the network came back up the playlist was complete and all DVRs showed up in the "Status" for Multi-Room. It's not like the DVRs weren't showing up in the dropdown, the dropdown wasn't there at all. After a reboot, and re-acquisition of the guide, the dropdown was back.
Playing back from HR22, video froze, audio continued. Report sent while video was frozen. Has happened on several times from both HR20-700 and HR22 as servers.
My HR24 just did a spontaneous reboot (coincidentally in the midst of the 119 problems). Was watching buffered local news on mpeg4 station Seattle KOMO 4.
Box was on, tuned to channel 36-1 via AM21 but TV was off. Turned on TV and had no video and no audio (audio through Sony receiver and it wasn't showing any audio format, like DD2.0 or DD5.1), generated report.
After report finished I tried tuning to other ATSC channels, all blank and no audio, tuned to a DBS channel, that working fine. Checked ATSC signal readings, all 95 or higher. Rebooting box.
It appears that those of us who did not get the push last week are not going to get it at all. I'm still on 388 and would be surprised to see a 38c push now - given that we are half way through another week and will probably get whatever comes next.
Screen saver kicked in on live TV. It happened seemingly exactly 2 hours after bringing the unit out of standby. No remote activity after turning it on and changing channel. DoublePlay not used.
(After 2 hours of no remote activity, it can use more cycles for background tasks, but it should not engage the screen saver.)
Be glad.
Are you using HDMI or something else?
I had turned off the front panel LED's so I could see when the box rebooted, sometime overnight they came back on. Checked this AM and there was a pop up message about no guide data received for 4 hours (920). Box was tuned to ch 36-1 and I don't know if when on the AM21 it uses 119 for guide data and maybe 119's problems yesterday caused the issue. Anyway, generated report, then checked sat signals, all good, so rebooted.
I thought that with the SWM that Guide Data was always received from 101º?
At least you still have MRV on your HR24.
HDMI to A/V receiver. HDMI to DVI cable to TV (RCA DLP).
Interesting, I would think the HDMI handshake would keep it "alive" instead of timing out to a screen saver.
Title: Media Share Stuck Photo
I ran a media share with TVersity serving January 2009 photos, shuffled along with an album playing all. The STB stopped cylcing though photos on 102 of 216 photos. The music continued to play and I was able to use the remote (hence the report). Once I hit the |>|> button on the remote the pictures resumed cycling though.
tag one more guide data fail/reboot.
