i do like the new screensaver on the XM channels where instead of the directv logo floating around its now the channel, title, artist, cd.

[QUOTE and I love muting the annoying NFL TV Commentators and listening to the homer radio broadcasts.
    QUOTE]

Jeez, Finally another one. I try to tell people that they don't know what they are missing by not doing this. I have not heard a word John Madden or Tony Kornholer have said in two years. :)

    Neither have I!
And I haven't seen a Sunday pro game in that time either. I'm a Saturday (and sometimes Thursday) college fan.

Closer to the topic, but still a bit off:
Many years ago I used to watch baseball on Saturday afternoon TV with the sound turned off listening to classical music on FM radio. Very relaxing...

How many years ago? Well, It was a black and white TV set.

Sirius had approximately 650,000 subscribers when they signed Stern, so that would make it about a 15x increase in subscribers since he signed with Sirius. Obviously every sub addition since that time wasn't due to Stern, although it could be argued that without him, Sirius would have gone out of business, so in a way every current Sirius subscriber today exists because of Stern's coming to satellite radio.

The fact that you can buy cars with Sirius built in and a 3 month free preview doesn't hurt. That's how I'm enjoying XM right now.

Ford gives you 6 months, and Chrysler gives you a whole freaking year!

I had that similar XM offer when I purchased my car. If you wait until it’s ready to expire and then call to cancel, they give you a great deal to renew. One time they even gave me 3 more months free. The only problem with the promo is it will automatically renew after it ends, at the regular monthly price. Then you have to call again and try to cancel or get another offer. They are pretty persistent in trying to keep you.
