If it's on XM, it has to be true.

I read it on Satelliteguys. I'm guessing a link wouldn't be welcome.

Someone stated they heard it on the Morning Mash Up which is a program on Hits 1. It would be nice but I doubt it is true.

Not that I'm aware of. I know Wiki had something and, well, you know what's on wiki isn't always true.

Well there is the Morning Mashup from today on Sirius XM On Demand but the duration is 5 hours and 47 minutes. I think I'll just wait until Jan 20 to see if it really comes true.

In my opinion XM is crap now,if they are gonna ditch SONIC they should bring back MUSIC CHOICE (Them and Sonic are the best providers)

The only option worth listening to is Pandora. Any other option is crap and a waste of bandwidth imho. Those music channels have some of the worst audio quality.

DirecTV's Pandora implementation is very nice, IMO. I just wish it worked on my H21/H25s, in addition to my HRs. Not sure why it's been limited to DVRs only, because my diskless Pioneer AV receiver has it. So do a lot of DVD players, AFAIK.

I have XM in the car and it sucks. The only reason I have it there is that:

    1. It's only $4.88 a month due to their pestering and deals.

    2. It sucks just a LITTLE less than FM.

I hope it NEVER returns to DirecTV!!

Actually, I wish I could take Sonic Tap with me in the car...

I do not use DirecTV for music. There are so many other choices that I no longer see the need for music only channels on television. That said, they do not take up much bandwidth, so for the few who do use their televisions for music, I am in favor of whichever service DirecTV can get for the lowest cost.

Now, if DirecTV had the XM radio coverage of SEC football and basketball games (XM 199, 200, 201, etc) I might listen to those every, especially if there was a way to synch the audio to the video of the games on CBS or ESPN. At least the radio anouncers describe the game instead of all of the fluf that CBS and ESPN have.

XM used to be much better. Hopefully it will get better when Liberty takes it over soon. Maybe not. Who knows. My preference is Sirius XM but I think each service has it's good and bad. I listen to both. I would be happy if it did return to Directv but I highly doubt it is true. I would think it is possible though for SXM Internet Radio to be an 'Extra" option like Pandora where you sign in with your SXM account. I wonder if something like that could be in the works.

And and its not DMXs fault bud!!!

DirecTV is cutting the bandwidth down ON PURPOSE so they can use it elsewhere...... All of DMX/SONIC/MUSIC CHOICE's streams sound EXCELLENT but DTV isnt allowing the full bitrates to be carried thru! -- Its kinda sad :(
