What happened to mandatory metallica?
It was temporary.
Only lasted until last weekend. Now we get Liquid Metal back. Was never meant to be permanent.
Seems like they could find room to keep that one for ever.
They don't even have enough room for the channels they have, let alone new ones.
Dude, we are talking about an all metallica channel here. HELLO make room. Nobody listens to half the crap xm has on anyway. I don't think anyone would miss Enlighten channel ha ha ha
If there were channels that nobody listened to, Sirius XM would pull them. They're trying to appeal to the widest possible audience.
But the music channels dont take up much bandwidth at all right ?
Maybe they shouldve called it "Temporary Metallica" instead.
On DirecTV, yes. But on Sirius XM, each channel is taking up a precious slice of a very limited amount of bandwidth. And that's what we're talking about.
