My C.Link lights are never the same. If I posted each time one of them changed I'd have to have my own thread and I'd be posting several times daily. Not to mention I'd be paying so much attention to the lights I couldn't watch TV.

And I've only ever seen yellow/orange a few times and then for only a second or two.
Almost always a good steady green. Or blinking green too.

Every time I look it's different with any combination possible. 3 orange and 1 green, 4 green, 4 orange, 2 orange and 2 green, etc...

Now that I have been seeing several posts with various combinations...I have been checking daily (mulitple times).

I only see all 4 DECA C.Link LEDS fully green every time here.

    Hmmm....

I've had maybe 4-5 combinations of green/yellow. Once "a state" is established, it doesn't seem to change until I either reboot a receiver or play with my coax connections.
The biggest change was when I moved the filter from the first splitter to the dish. This caused only one to be green, but swapping cables/ports at my 4-way splitter caused this to change to three green, until the receivers rebooted for the CE download, where they returned to one green.
It would be nice someday to know what the C.Link LED color/status means.

Mine change without redoing my setup or rebooting. I can't seem to pinpoint an activity that makes them change.

This morning when I left I had 3 orange, sorry it's not yellow, and 1 green. Tonight when I get home I'm sure it will be something different and no one is there watching tv and the units won't be rebooted.

In my first "setup" I seemed to have the DECAs on my DVRs "borderline" as they would change color, without changing anything, but after my first round of "playing" they seemed to stabilize to any of the various states they are now.

Unless I am doing a reboot, where the color changes to Orange/Yellow at first, and then to Green.....its always Green here now.

So far all are green with the 33F CE's. I have not caught the DECA uplink going yellow yet! Still checking!

My "one green" moved from my HR20 over to my HR21 [most likely because the HR20 needed a [second] reboot last.

Green at the moment, but occasionally I'll see yellow c.link lights.

Today I moved my dish to resolve a slight LOS problem. While moving I replaced the original LNB / SWM8 with a DIRECTV SL5-SWM LNB. Prior to the move all cLink lights were green. After the move the cLink light on the DECA at the router is yellow. All other cLink lights are green. Prior to the move the filter was between the SWM8 and the dish. It is now at the dish therefore between the integrated SWM and the PI. The move corrected signal issues on 99 / 103 and all units now pass the System Test.

With all these recent reports on the color of the C.Link LEDS.....it seems yellow or green...things work.

It raises the question (and would love to know the answer), just what do the colors really mean originating from the C.Link LED?

The more we experiment, configure, compare, test...the less it seems to make any difference what the color is....hmmm.....

I can't really see the other DECA's unless I go looking for them, but the HR20-700's DECA pretty much constantly stays orange (though it never seems to be an issue). Once, I noticed it green, but it changed a few minutes later.

SUNDAY, it was like a light show. Green one moment, but check again in 10 minutes, and it's orange. A couple of times I caught it in the middle of changing.

I'm curious if it has anything to do with the receiver accessing either the internet for something, or perhaps something to do with guide information?
