I pay annually in advance, so why am I getting a bill and threatening phone calls?
Have you tried a simple phone call to DISH?
Did you take into account additional fees/price increase? I.e. receiver fees, locals and junk like that?
I recall sometimes some annual members would only pay the price of the programming and forget to account for the rest of the stuff and it stayed as a recurring charge monthly.
I didn't forget anything. They set the price. There have been no add-ons or changes.
It's weird because it looks like they're billing a DVR fee and a Primary Receiver fee, but then crediting both which Zeroes out the bill. BUT, they're also billing for State Tax and some other State amount that are not being credited and it looks like the Tax is being added to the other fee.
Since I am Grandfathered under Annual Billing and I should not be getting a Monthly bill at all and the bill I'm getting is essentially $0.00 for any Dish amounts, neither of these State amounts should be billed.
Did your state recently institute a tax they didnt used to have? When there is tax, even on a credited dvr or receiver fee, the tax is not credited back like the fee is. Thats the way it works I believe with both providers, maybe even cable.
DISH is the only one besides YOU that has access to your account. If you want an answer you need to talk to them we can only guess at reasons.
Maybe the DIRTs got Dozed. Haven't seen one around for days.
