You think since Echostar acquired VOOM will they be using Motorola Receivers?
Ahh, geez it's not worth it, but here goes.
Dish did not aquire Voom!
They have a pending transaction to purchase just the satellite, uplink center, and TPs that voom has.
They do not want or care about their programming, customers, or STBs!
Or are they in negotiations for the above?
NO NO NO all DISH finds of value is the Satellite, The Uplink Center and the Licenses for Transponders at the 61.5 location. The 26,000 customers are pretty much worthless to DISH most were already DISH customers and left. The Motorola boxes are incompatible with Nagravision so for 26,000 customers Dish isn't going to chane out the boxes 11 million customers already have. What a stupid question.
Is it grumpy day in TX?
Man, that's two threads I've seen boba get grumpy with someone. Not normal for him. I'm in TX and the sun came out today, so it's alright here
