Some SD DirecTV channels are in 16:9 format, especially QVC2 and ESPNews SD. I believe TNT SD, truTV SD, and TBS SD are in 16:9 format as well. By the way, I do not use any SD equipment (and haven’t been since 2016.) This is on an HD Genie with “show all channels” selected in the guide settings.
Every time I save a channel over top of ESPN, it takes an entry that I previously saved and WANTED. This behavior is annoying and I would like it to stop. I never watch ESPN and am tired of it taking a precious spot in my QuickTune.
How do I stop it?
Thanks in advance.

Whenever I switch to any SD programming, the GUI switches to an SD resolution as well. Normally even if the programming is SD, the GUI would remain HD.
I remember this happening before and can't remember if I did something to fix it or if it fixed itself.
Anyone else ever run across this?
