0x108 OTA recording lock up until red button reset

I recorded 'Til Death on WRAZ (Fox 50 in Raleigh) channel 50-1 last week after getting 0x108. I watched about half of the show and then decided to go watch something else. Last night I decided to go and watch the rest of it. Since I knew I wanted to fast-forward through it, I hit play and as soon as the screen went black, I hit the fast forward button a couple of times. It just hung on a black screen. I tried play, forward, reverse and nothing worked. I then hit exit and it got me back to live TV. I tried to go in again and watch it and now it was about 17 minutes according to the time meter at the bottom, but just a frozen single screenshot and forward and reverse wouldn't do anything. I was able to go to my playlist and play other recordings (that were not OTA - I didn't have any other OTA recordings to try) but no matter what, this recording would not play.

I did a red button reset (actually a reset from the settings menu) and after it came back up, I could play the show without a problem. I'm wondering if hitting fast forward too quickly after starting to play the program is what triggered the issue, but I don't really want to try again for fear of messing something else up (not to mention having to wait for guide data to repopulate again).
