My client wanted a bigger dish to prevent rain fade so the 1.2m dish was the solution we came up with
now after installing it we are getting the 920 error. Most ird's are now showing the 920 code but not all of them
they are connected from the 1.2m dish with the 3lnb, 4 wires down aprox 30ft to 4 2way splitters, 1 leg to a powered zinwell 6x16, the other leg to a zinwell 6x8 for 23 receivers total.

Is the WB616 connected to the power passing port of the 2-way splitters?

By 1.2m I assume you mean the Alaska/Hawaii dish. The 920 error is because you cannot use the AL/HI dish with legacy multi-switches without the 110/119 companion dish to supply guide data when accessing the 103 satellites.

If you do not have or wish to use the 110/119 comp. dish, your only alternative is to convert to a SWM install and run the four outputs of the dish to a SWiM-8 or -16 external module and then set the receivers to SL-3S dish in the setup.

And to note, the 1.2m dish will not really prevent rain fade anymore than a standard size Slimline as they are deep drops in signal strength on the order of 50-60 db far beyond what the increased dimensions of the 1.2m dish can compensate for.

yes pp leg was from powered 6x16 but others have confirmed you must use swm's with this dish

I hope he doesn't live in an community with an 'aggressive' HOA or other government entity that has any type of satellite dish restrictions.
