I have checked any thread I could find halfway relating to this question and can't find information on which cities get HD locals this week. If no one knows for sure, what channel numbers are locals normally put on so I can start checking that area in the guide.

I've seen that site. Columbia is slated for this month is why I'm checking weekly to see when we will get it. All I know from that is it is sometime this month

Tomorrow could be a possibility for channels 6,8,13,17,38 according to your online program guide at DirecTV.com, if this is your correct zip. This has been a reliable indicator in past launches.

DirecTV called me last week reporting that I had some low signals on the 103 Satellite and a local installer came out Saturday. Both the CSR and the technician reported that the date for HD locals is October 8th.

94 of 99 CBS stations
89 of 99 NBC stations
93 of 99 Fox stations
3 of 96 PBS stations
26 of 84 CW stations
15 of 72 MyTV Network stations
4 of 24 Independent stations

found in the upcoming locals thread I find it insane that Columbia is supposed to get PBS in HD...
No CW in HD but I'm not sure it's even offered here. Hopefully tomorrow is correct!

Just checked, no such thing as the CW channel available in HD here, so if the link someone posted above is correct D* should start carrying all my local stations tomorrow.
