Check signal strengths while the problem is actually happening.
And check strengths on both tuners, not just the default tuner #1.

Signal of 75%-85% should still be getting picture fine, unless a wet cloud moves into the way which will cause that 75% to drop much quicker than your other 90% signals (and especially on a Ka signal like 103 uses).

And when you say "103", I hope you mean 103(c), not 103(s).
Ignore both 99(s) and 103(s) as these sats at for local spotbeams.

-----------------------------------

When you lose signal, how long does it last?
Just a few minutes or a few hours?

I ask because if it's a long time, (and especially if it's roughly the same time everyday) maybe the surface your dish is mounted on is actually moving (like a roof that's expanding and contracting) as the temperature changes.

If it's sporatic, then maybe the dish foot is not completely tightened down, and the wind is moving the dish just a tad as it gusts.

99(c) broadcasts:
501 - HBO EAST
206 - ESPN
209 - ESPN2

103(c) broadcasts:
207 - ESPN NEWS

You sure it's only those 4 channels?
Somehow I seriously doubt that.

Tonight when the signal drops out (or the next time it does), go into the signal strength screen and write down all the strengths for satellites 101, 110, 119, 99(c), & 103(c). Copy them into a post here for us to evaluate.

In the mean time, if you have a bit of time RIGHT NOW, and the weather is clear, can you please take & post what all your CURRENT readings are for those same 5 satellites so we have something to compare against when you get your bad readings later.

Use a format like this to post them:

Sat 103(c):
1-8 = 93 92 91 89 89 88 89 91
9-16 = 89 89 91 91 91 91 na na
17-24 = na na na na na na na na
25-32 = na na na na na na na na

Great picture is not a measurement.

With digital signals, you basically get all or nothing, as far as picture quality is concerned.
