Hi all,

woke up this morning and turned on the tv and HR20, channel was on NBC NY
(CH 82), broadcast 1080i and found 2 vertical lines on the tv. I''m using Component Cables.

I turned Native off and set RES to 720p and the problem went away. Before changing the RES, i checked all 1080i channels and had the same problem.

Anyone else notice these issues this morning?

Just an FYI that NBC has an annoying line bug in their HD signal, usually on the left side. It's seen on many local NBC stations. Not sure if this is what you are seeing. If so, nothing you can do about it.

If you switched format to 720p and then back to 1080i and they went away then I would just assume it was a display bug/corrupted data and wouldn't worry about it too much unless it happens on all channels. If it's just your local NBC then I'd go to the New York local HD thread on AVS and see if other users are seeing the same thing, especially OTA. That should help you track down the issue.

When I switched back to 1080i, it was still there, so I left it on 720p, till I get home.

This isn't the OTA feed, don't have it setup.

It is on the right side, looks like interference. I will check everything again when I get home.

I also have a bar on the left side when I display 1080i in 480p. I do that because so amny channel that are 1080i have the side pillars and are realy just 480 anyway. I am 4:3 so might as well fill the screen.
