DirecTV is trying to get me to switch to HR20/HR10 STBs from my four HR10-250's, one SD Samsung SD Tivo, and two SD non-Tivo STBs. I currently use all 12 coax feeds from my 12 port Spaun Multiswitch (with a UHF antenna diplexed to the feeds) to feed my seven DirecTV STBs. Is there a way to do this with the Ku/Ka dish and new DirectV receivers? This might have been asked before but I could not find an answer.
FTM has nothing to do with OTA diplexing. As far as diplexing with the KA/KU dish,
it is still up the air but there are some threads explaining that you have to diplex
in AFTER the B-Band converter, but since nothing is using that frequency yet, it is
hard to determine if that solution is viable.
Once FTM is available... you will want to have TWO cables.
One for the FTM-SAT signal, the others for an OTA
