My home town, Buffalo, drops again

It was in the top 10 in 1910. Now out of the top 50.

Yes, in 1910, all metropolitan areas in the U.S. were tied at Number 1 in the Nielsen DMA rankings.

They all had zero TV households.

I find it amazing that there are almost 50,000 households in Los Angeles that bought their first TV this year.

Of course that's not necessarily what that number means. The population of Los Angeles probably increased by 50,000 or so households.
