OK, so DTV messed up my HMC install 3 times so I am looking at a way I can stay with Dish. I have a couple of questions regarding Hoppers and Joeys.

Have they fixed the restriction where, in a 2H 2J setup, one Hopper cannot watch shows from another Hopper?

As a current customer who is still under the 2 year commitment, what would be the pricing they offer me to replace my 922 & 2x722 setup with a 2H 2J setup?

If I back up my shows for the 922 onto an external HD, can that HD be simply plugged into a Hopper and my shows will not be lost?

Can a Joey see shows attached on an External HD attached to a Hopper?

Since you are under contract and did not list what your subscription is, PM a DIRT member as they are the best to answer this. Csr's can be a waste of time. Also, EHD's from 922's and 722's are compatible with the Hopper.

Nearly everything transferred over perfectly. Sadly what didn't were the NFL Sound FX for the recent playoffs/Super Bowl where the Giants won.

Sigh. Can't have 'em all I guess.

Sorry for not reading the forum fully. Can you post a link to where the the answer to my first question about Hoppers being able to see each other is shown? The DIRT representative wasn't sure that one was fixed yet.

They can see each other but they cannot link/communicate data. The upgrade is coming this summer says Dish.
