2nd Time Reds HD Feed Goes out near end of the game!!!!
What the Heck is going on? The other night during the Cubs @ Reds The HD Feed for the Reds Went out to a DirecTv Logo on the screen. Now Tonight the same thing happend in the 8th inning. The HD Feed has went out with the Reds Playing the Brewers in Milwaukee. DIRECTV HAS SOME EXPLAINING TO DO!!!!!

I was on the phone for 26 minutes with the single most clueless CSR I've ever had the misfortune to deal with.
She could not get her arms around the fact is was someone who inadvertently flipped a switch. And didn't have a clue I could see the game on both 661-1 and 738-1. Reds are a "local" RSN.
I got the entire CSR 101 playbook:
Blackouts are determined by MLB
Some games are not in HD
Change the channel and change back
Is there a problem with all HD channels
Is the problem happening on both receivers
Can you reboot your box.
With every question, I replied the game had been on for 3 hours and suddenly - at exactly 11:00PM Eastern - the slate came up.
She didn't know what that was and asked what "message" was on the screen.
I asked several times to speak with a supervisor and / or someone in the technical department.
Then I got the "D* cannot control what programming it receives".
That was it.
I hung up.

The same thing happened at 10pm PDT Tuesday night on CSNBA-HD , so we missed the Giants scoring the winning run in the bottom of the 9th against the DBacks.
Where you having lip/synch issues also.It was like the audio was ahead of the video.I would hear the ball hit glove or bat before it got to the plate.And on commercials it was noticable.Msguy said:What the Heck is going on? The HD feed appeared to drop when the next program was scheduled to begin on the SD channel. I figured a computer somewhere glitched and cut off the feed based upon the time. But that was just a guess...
I'm a Cubs fan who lives in Reds Territory. I didn't watch the whole game but I tuned into the Reds @ Brewers because i wanted to see if the Reds were beating the Brewers as soon as my Cubs game went final. I turned over to FSN Ohio-Cincinnati to watch the ending of that game and i wasn't on the channel for more than 1 minute and the HD Feed went out and went to a DirecTv Logo on the screen. It was only the 8th inning. I had to watch the rest of that game in Standard Definition which the Reds ended up winning in extra innings. Welcome to our world. This was a problem for many games in the NHL Center Ice package last year. Overzealous switch flippers.
yeah, this ticked me off as well.
The syncing problem was quite funny. I could tell if the batter was going to hit it before he hit it 
Very frustrating to lose the hd feed. SD is almost unbearable to watch.
Great to watch the Reds making life miserable for the Cubs and Brewers
Here's hoping for next year.
