do a keyword search for 30SECSKIP and wait for it to find nothing and then select done
did not work. I did skip then slip. Which one does the fast skip and does not show moving scenes?
Since this is in national release software I am moving this to the "DIRECTV HD DVR" forum.

It's 30SKIP, not 30SECSKIP.

Skip - jump 30 seconds forward.

Slip - FW 30 seconds very fast.

You need to do a keyword search for "30SKIP"-->continue-->all-->done and it should work.
press Menu
select Search for Shows
select Keyword
type in 30SKIP
move over to Continue
select Continue
select All
select Done

Perfect. It worked. Thank you very much. These forums are great!!!
You would think this would have been moved to a menu somewhere...but I guess they wanted to be like Tivo and have secret codes too.

This feature/function and edgecutter sort memory in the to do list are very handy and it makes no sense to me to hide these from the general public. Especially when Dish already has it by default. I eventually train all my friends that switch to Directv and they all use skip.
