Hi,
I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything. I understand the 501 has a 9 day guide. But is there anyway to jump ahead a few days or do you have to sit there and scroll through 3 or so days of listings? I'm not talking about a search.

Use the "skip ahead" button ( upper right of the pvr buttons ).. skips you ahead 24 hours.

I was told the 501 had just 2 day PVR. Am I wrong. I am getting a 501, wish I could get the 721, but that will be by the end of the next century knowing these guys.

The 501s initially had a 44 hour guide, but a software upgrade in late November extended the guide to 9 days.

"skip ahead" !!!! Cool. Thanks guys. I'm real happy to have found that. I couldn't find anything about it in the manual.

while in the guide you can use the number keys to specify how many hours you want to jump ahead (or back if you are ALREADY ahead)

press "96" followed by pressing "right" arrow and you will jump ahead 96 hours (4 days) in the guide
