Recently my 510 started just displaying a black screen with the channel info bar at the top...this happens after it has sat turned off for the night. Sometimes with sound, sometimes without. It seems to change channels, in so far as the info banner changes, but still has a black display.
Basically I have to hold the power button and reset it that way to get it back to normal. I remember the unit doing it back when the software patched in the VOD.
Any thoughts? Is the unit on its way out?

my 625 did that after it was unplugged for about 24 hrs. probably just resetting the receiver will fix it, but if it doesn't, you could always call dish tech support b/c it's probably related to authorization, not the hard drive..
