I'm not sure how to describe this odd problem, but we've had a replacement 522 for about 3 months now and on at least 5 occasions it will randomly pick a timer and record the show, but broken apart in small segments. We just recorded a one-hour episode of Law & Order and instead of a 60-minute recording, we ended up with 57 separate 1-minute (and a couple 2-minute) segments. It makes it a real PITA to watch!! 
Weather and signal strength has not been an issue. It only happens on TV1, and it has happened on different channels (locals and networks).
Any ideas?
