Transponder 11 is usually the one to check, no matter which satellite you are trying to see. Transponder 29 on 61.5 seems to be the weakest, so that one would be the best one to tweak the dish.
61.5 Signal
My zip is 37919. When using satellite 61.5 with a DishPro LNB and 500 dish, what transponder should I use to check the signal strength and what would be a strong reading? LOS is perfect. Using a 612 receiver.

Thanks for the reply. A reading in the 70 + range on the new meter be about as good as one could do??
