622 Dishes With TV Japan

Am replacing 921 with a 622, but before ordering have a question: 921 is connected to two dishes - one aligned for receiving the TV Japan programming package and the other aligned to receive everything else HD and SD, no OTA. Two coaxes feeding the 922 (only 1 was on the original 811 Receiver).

The question: Will I need a third dish antenna for the 922? I have gotten a "Yes" and a "No" answer from two calls to the Dish support group. (I was suspicious of the "Yes", hence the 2nd call)

My original install paperwork (3 years ago) does not have antenna id on it for either of the dishes. Looking at them, one has two "rectangular blocks" at the base and the other has one. (I'd call the blocks "feed horns", but that probably isn't correct).

Also have splitter (or switch) to allow a 522 to receive the same signal set. Probablay nothing to do with the question, but for the sake of completeness, put it in this note.

I'm guessing you have a Dish500 for 110/119 for your core programming and a Dish pointed at 148 for your international programming. What would most likely happen if you did the upgrade is, your Dish500 would be replaced with a Dish1000 which gets 110/119 AND 129 (new HD programming some HD locals).

The install would take care of all switches and dishes to make sure you retain your current programming as well as the new HD channels and still support all your existing receivers.
